About the Builder
Vasta Development, incorporated since 1980, is owned and operated by John and Peggy Vasta. They are State Certified Contractors with 30 years of design, construction and finance experience. Over the years their company has developed scores of single family and multifamily properties; built hundreds of residential, commercial and marine structures, and renovated countless homes throughout northwest Florida. They are members of the National Association of Home Builders and the Better Business Bureau, as well as support a number of civic and faith based organizations that promote ownership for first time home buyers.
Mission Statement:
Our goal is to advance the ownership of new homes for households that earn between $28,000 and $75,000 a year with no money down at the lowest monthly payment possible. Soaring land prices and escalating building costs created a housing crisis for the middle income wage earner. In the past ten years the average price of a house has more than tripled, whereas work force wages have been flat or seen marginal increases over the same period. For this reason, we have perfected a path to affordable home ownership with a simple five step program. The nation’s economy runs in cycles; good or bad we all need a safe decent place to live. Our program makes a home ownership possible because mortgage payments are less than rental rates and buyers can qualify with no money down.
